Ok, ok... So it's now pretty obvious we've some new units coming to BS:P very soon. And whilst the exact details on what those units will be are still shrouded in a cloud of extreme mystery, I'd like to shed some light on a couple of them. Speaking with Botond Szalacsi (Lead Designer @ Eidos Studios Hungary) earlier today, he wanted to clear up a few things, answer some of your questions since my teasing, and once again let you all know that the team are always watching the forums. So... Montana and Super Yamato. Yep, they're in. And they're badass.  Let's have a closer look: - They both cost 300 points each. Argh! Well, I'm definitely happy to see these two titans in the game, but I'm hoping we get to see some more units too (submarines, japanese CL's anyone?)

Looks great, now all we need is a C-47 transport that drops 50 torpedo's at once to try and sink them lol.
Maybe a new missle system would be nice instead of new ship? Thought I'm loving this new unit update also love volcano, sad not a lot of players a playing this map! It looks stunning and so do the ships, can't wait to spent my money on it!
Still if you wanna add more addition the unit pack at some cool weapons or some tricky gadgets?

Looks good, these ships should be an interesting ( and fun! ) inclusion into the game, i know a lot of people have wanted to see them & so have I. I was jst wondering though, i would've thought that the Montana would have the higher speed or at least they both have the same speed in the game, as the Iowa & Yamato do...

They can't exactly put it anywhere else.
If your parents won't let you use their credit card, just go to the store and get a prepaid debit card or a Microsoft Points card.

Love these two ships they are awsome
Most game stores will sell MS points. Just go in, and if you can't see them (usualy in orange DVD box) ask at the counter, they will know what your looking for.

i recently played a game of island capture and i have to say that the Super Yammy is godly... Montana kinda gets torn apart by it tho unless you can get off a broadside salvo before the SY sees you...
do they seriously dont know how to spell battleships. seriously Eidos you norwedion people suck at making games wihout someone telling how to make games.

That's cool, the montana and the super yamto class's,But what will be really interesting is more playable class battleships like the IJN's lse class and the Nagato class also the USN's North Carolina class,Colorado class,Pennsylvania class,Wyoming class,and the Nevada class
Also if they what they can scew up the time line and have with the IJN, Playable battleship Bismarck and the Admiral Graf Spee (Deutschland class)from Germany LOL..

I like to play battleships and even i am owning an board game about battle ships.

It's pretty cool. However, I would have Eidos rather stick to ships actually used in WWII, and have them look decent. I mean, the Super Yamato does look pretty badass, but first of all, look at the turrets. Are you kidding me? They don't look like 20-inch guns. They look like turrets from a Renown-class battlecruiser! Also the whole ship itself looks like the exact same as the regular Yamato (laziness, maybe?), with gun exception.
The Nevada does look pretty sweet, though.
But for now I having problem with the budget.
