Personally I like midway just as much as Pacific, but Dremora is right the concept is the same but it will feel like playing another game.

Xbox . . . You still have gamers online with Xbox live. However, there is a cost of 49.00 a year.

Now if you are talking about PC version, you can play another person on the LAN format, which uses wireless network wihtout going online. In others words, you do not need Gamesshadow to play others and be charged.

Take my advice play the LAN while using your wireless network after downloading the Battlestation Midway Mission pack for free and 1.1v patch (seperate downloads).

Note: Must have the patch 1.1v before the mission pack. Sibuyan Sea multiplayer game in the Mission Pack is awesome while playing on the LAN Formatt!

By the way, you can buy Battlestations Midway at Office Max for $9.99 without the instructions if you decision to go the PC way.

I think it is worth it and you should be able to find it pretty inexpensive.

I actually prefer the game play of Midway.

If you decide to get the PC version, they have several listings for Midway at Ebay for under $10 with shipping. There are even a few listings for only $8. Pretty darn good deal for a 2 year old game and lets you try it for cheap, just in case you don't like it (don't see a reason why shouldn't enjoy it, though....its a great game).

midway is awesome definetly buy it.

The good thing about bsm is that it has a story with especific characters but the gameplay of bsp is much better. So I prefer bsp.

Midway is the previous version so admittadly its not as good graphically, its more cartoony, but thats not to say that the graphics arent good, they are.

Midway doesnt point out to you things to shoot at like engine, armour etc, you just have to aim and shoot. So in a way its harder.

pacific is also is currently still being supported where midway isnt.
So is it a game i would consider still?
Sure i would, but you may find yourself spoiled on Pacific.

Pacific is not supported - sice two months there is no answers from developpers, no news, no posts, no new DLC or whatever.

And Midway has a support from strong Midway Modders team - 5 new free multiplayer maps are done and downloaded by many guys - 6 new free multiplayer maps coming soon (max 1 month). It's much more for free, than you can get paying from Pacific.

Midway is very cheap now and a great game, to be fair I own both but simply don't play Pacific, its too cartoony, despite the great graphics and I don't like the gameplay. I find it lacks realism in its game play whihc is a shame as the graphics are great.
