Trouble with game play

I am in episode 3 of the single player mode. I am unable to control the carrier or launch aircraft. I am using the mouse buttons as directed in the instruction book but nothing seems to happen. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Can anyone steer me in the correct direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm assuming you're talking about the US campaign and the "Battle of Santa Cruz" mission. I believe your problem is that you're not using the Support Menu to launch the planes. If you haven't changed anything, the default is "Z" to bring up the Support Menu. You then use the "W" or "S" keys to choose the plane you want and then press "Enter" to launch the plane (I think the alternate is RMB to launch). I believe you have only two slots at first, but it'll open up to four slots later in the mission. If I remember right, you'll want to launch fighters at first to take on the enemy planes coming your way. Try the online strategy wiki by Arrow, as it is a valuable resource for when you're just learning everything. Link is below:

Hi,
I have purchased Battlestations pacific, off of STEAM.
I have fully updated and downloaded the game, also Windows live.
My windows live acc is fine.

Coming to what you say...
Whilst in any game, campaign, skirmish, etc.. I cannot switch from the first unit made.
i.e. Create planes - once launched - cannot switch back to command using Z or F1 (default keys) or switch units if I already have more I.e. Q or E (default Keys) Please help is there an update i am missing or is it a bug
I have uninstalled and reinstalled and re applyed updates yet this still seems to be the case.

Multiplayer issue - I cannot Join any server, it merely says : "the server you are trying to join is not available please try again later"

I have switched my firewall off and got a friend to invite me, Yet i still cannot join.

Please help with these issues!
